Tyler joined the Primal Racing team in June of 2021. He comes with 15 years of competition experience and 7 years of coaching experience. Tyler currently manages our racing school and also helps with marketing and car sales.

He started his racing career in Quarter Midgets & karting at the age of six. He is a USAC National Champion and won multiple regional and local championships. He's competed in Legends cars & Late Models in the GAS series (Georgia Asphalt Series) and ASA series (American Speed Association). He also raced on the West Coast in USAC Midgets winning multiple trophy dash races and a feature event. In 2013, he competed in the UARA Late model series driving for Shane Hmiel picking up multiple top fives and a pole in his ten race rookie season. Across his career he's done one-off races in National Pavement Midgets, dirt late models, Spec Miatas, Radicals, and Sprint Cars. He has also tested in various race cars including Porsche Cup Cars and did a Daytona test in a Nascar Truck.

Over 15 years he has made 197 starts and achieved 62 wins. Aside from racing he has coached with various organizations and OEM's and enjoys sharing his knowledge and race craft to help others find speed and success on the track. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with friends & family, playing sports, enjoying his racing simulator, and traveling.
