Patrick Wilmot

Patrick made his car-racing debut in the Sports Car Club of America’s American Sedan Class after three championships in three years in the ProCup Karting League at Andretti Indoor Karting. Wasting no time, he promptly racked up four national wins driving a Ford Mustang and finished in the top three in points every year from 2009-2012, all while continuing to mentor kids as the lead instructor for ProCup Karting’s Young Driver Camp.

In 2012, Patrick began driver coaching for Skip Barber, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche. That didn’t stop him from racing, however, as Patrick entered the professional ranks driving a Pirelli World Challenge Mini Cooper for the 2016 season and bringing home two top-5 and four top-10 finishes for his team.

Patrick’s goal is to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a Ford factory driver. In his free time, he continues to coach both young and old in hopes of inspiring them to pursue their dreams and follow their passions. With Patrick’s father racing a Shelby Mustang in Historic Sportscar Racing and his first trip to a track being before he was even one month old, it's safe to say that Patrick has always had racing in his blood!
